Monster Island (Movie Review)

Monster Island was the Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster and it was released in the same period as Godzilla King of the Monsters. The film centers on an island with the same title as the island itself where a monstrous lives.


This asylum film has a low budget, roughly equivalent to a large meal for children. The filmmakers wisely chose to only focus on a handful of people and to shoot all the important moments involving the A-listers of (original source) the cast during lunch. The Asylum might not be too bad considering this is a film about kaiju.
